The Building Department maintains an effort to ensure a safe and sanitary community.

We encourage the community to inform us of concerns they might have about a particular location through the Action Center at (806) 669-5888 or through the online Report A Problem Form.

The Building Department enforces various city codes including:

• Permitting of new construction
• Permitting of repairing or remodeling existing facilities
• Trash and debris complaints
• Junk or abandoned vehicles in conjunction with the Police Department
