Composting Materials

Grass, small tree limbs, and leaves will be accepted at no charge. 

Grass Pickup for Composting

• Yard rakings and grass clippings must be boxed or bagged with a maximum weight of 50 lbs. each. 
• Curbside pickup will be made on announced schedule.
• Grass is taken to the composting area at the landfill and processed into rich topsoil.
• Compost is available to all citizens during landfill hours.

Ward 1 – Monday
Ward 2 – Tuesday
Ward 3 – Wednesday
Ward 4 – Thursday

These services are free of charge to the public.

Violations of rules and guidelines are subject to severe fines
