Jimmy Reed - Ward 4
ABOUT JIMMY REED
Jimmy was elected City Commissioner representing Ward 4 on December 27, 2022.
Commissioner Reed was born in Lubbock, TX. He was raised in Harrold, TX, and graduated from Harrold High School in 1974. In his free time, he enjoys everything associated with classic cars, but mostly enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Commissioner Reed earned his associate degree in Auto Mechanics from Ranger Junior College. His work with Texaco moved him to Pampa in 1976 where he would eventually retire with Chevron after 36 years. Jimmy is a member of the Southside Church of Christ.
FAMILY
Jimmy’s family includes his wife of 45 years, Dinah; two sons, Jimmy Jr. and Shannon; two daughters-in-law, Lisa and Delila; five grandchildren, Kalen, Bradyn, Mycala, Ellington and Amia; and one great-grandson, Kaysen.
VISION
My vision is for Pampa to be a destination where everyone would choose to raise a family. I will work hard and be an ear for our citizens, continuing efforts in growth and prosperity while moving toward establishing and maintaining a clean, safe and thriving community.
