Paul Searl - Ward 1
ABOUT PAUL SEARL
Paul was elected City Commissioner representing Ward 1 on May 1, 2021.
Commissioner Searl was born and raised in Pampa and was in the class of 1978 at Pampa High School. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with family and watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Commissioner Searl worked in many oil and gas industry jobs before going to work for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 1993. He retired in 2013 with 20 years of service and was a lieutenant at the Jordan and Baten Units in Pampa. He is currently the Director of Security at the Pampa Regional Medical Center and is also a music minister at Highland Baptist Church. He was a recipient of the 2012 Texans Caring Texans award. He was a former member of the M. K. Brown Auditorium Advisory Board and the Gray County Child Welfare Board of which he served as interim president. He is a member of The Singing Men of Texas.
FAMILY
Paul and his wife Linda have been married since 1980 and have 2 daughters: Heidi Reynolds and Staci Garcia both living in Pampa. He has 4 granddaughters: Emma, Hallie, Izabella and Zoe. Paul and Linda are Members of the Highland Baptist Church.
VISION
My vision for Pampa is to work hard for citizens of Pampa so that we see positive growth and prosperity while maintaining a safe and clean community. I want to continue to make Pampa a great place to live and raise a family.
