Patrol
Patrol Division
The Patrol Division of the Pampa Police Department is the largest division of the department with 20 personnel. The division is comprised of 4 shifts, each having a Sergeant, Corporal and two Patrol Officers. The division also has 3 School Resource Officers with the agreement and cooperation of the Pampa Independent School District. The Patrol Division is the most visible division of the department responsible for responding to all calls for service, emergency, and non-emergency, within the City of Pampa. The division is also trained and encouraged to proactively patrol the streets and neighborhoods performing traffic enforcement, investigation of suspicious activity as well as interacting and building relationships with the citizens.

Division Commander
Lieutenant moses campa
Lt. Campa grew up in West Texas and graduated from High School in Roby Tx in 1994. After high school, Campa moved to Sweetwater, Tx and began working at Ludlum Measurements Inc. as a Shipping Supervisor and then as an Electronics Calibration Technician.
Lt. Campa began his law enforcement career in 2006 as a Jailer for the Nolan County Sheriff's Office in Sweetwater, Tx. In 2010 Campa graduated from the West Central Texas Council of Governments Law Enforcement Academy in Abilene, Tx. Campa then went to work for the Sweetwater Police Department as a Patrol Officer and School Resource Officer.
In 2021, Campa moved from Sweetwater to Pampa and worked as a Patrol Officer for a short time and transitioned to the Criminal Investigations Division and promoted to Corporal. Campa was promoted to Lieutenant in 2023.
Lieutenant Campa is currently a TCOLE instructor and holds an Advanced Peace Officer Certification, Advanced School Resource Officer Certification and is a Texas DPS Fitness Institute graduate.
In his off time, Lieutenant Campa enjoys going to the gym with his wife Mechele, and spending time with their children and friends.
